I moved to Devon from the Midlands in 2009 to look after my terminally ill father, and the one thing that helped me get through this tough time in my life, was a visit to the coast every day.
Once a day I would walk down to the bottom of the hill and just watch the ocean and Mother Nature do what it does.
What I also loved was that no two days were the same. The sights and the sounds of nature and the sea were totally breathtaking and just visiting the coast once a day really helped me through one of the toughest times of my life.
